Terms of Use

1. The service

PetPact is a pet care companion that helps you build consistent care routines: personalized daily plans, task reminders, streaks, training lessons, GPS walk tracking, health records, and photo memories for dogs and cats. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time.

2. Not veterinary advice

PetPact is not a veterinary service and does not provide medical advice. Care plans, training lessons, reminders, breed analysis, and any AI-generated suggestions are for general informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for questions about your pet's health, diet, medication, or behavior. Never disregard or delay professional veterinary advice because of something in the app.

3. Eligibility and license

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use PetPact. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store's usage rules.

4. PetPact Premium subscriptions

PetPact offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, PetPact Premium, that unlocks additional features including multiple pets, GPS walk tracking, the full training library, health records, and plan regeneration.

• Plans and pricing: Premium is offered as a monthly subscription ($7.99 USD/month) and an annual subscription ($49.99 USD/year). Prices may vary by territory and are shown in the app before purchase.
• Free trial: the annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your Apple ID will be charged the annual subscription price.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial).
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• Managing or cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the app (Settings → Subscription → Manage) or in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Premium access until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: purchases are billed through Apple, so refund requests are handled by Apple under its media services terms.
• Restore purchases: you can restore an existing Premium purchase on a new device via Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases.
• Price changes: if we change subscription pricing, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.

5. Your content and data

Pet profiles, photos, health records, notes, and walk routes you create in PetPact belong to you and are stored on your device. If you use the optional AI photo analysis, you grant us a limited right to transmit that photo to our AI providers solely to return an analysis result, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to upload any photos you submit.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code;
• interfere with or disrupt the app or its backend services;
• upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or that you don't have the right to share;
• use the app in any way that violates applicable law or Apple's App Store terms.

7. Intellectual property

The PetPact app, its design, illustrations, mascot artwork, and all related content are the property of the PetPact developer (Adgenics Digital) and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These terms don't transfer any ownership to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

PetPact is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs (including breed identification or care suggestions) will be accurate or appropriate for your pet.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the PetPact developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, profits, or harm to a pet — arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for PetPact Premium in the twelve months before the claim, or $50 USD if you have not made a purchase.

10. Apple-specific terms

• These terms are between you and the app developer only — not Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms. You may stop using PetPact at any time by cancelling your subscription (if any) and deleting the app.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the app publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where local consumer law gives you mandatory rights, those rights are unaffected.
